Exercise - side B - version B

Welcome to the third week.

Third week is about improving the skill of drawing a straight line. Now we will be aiming the direction of the line. The best way to do that is to create a couple of point rows on a sheet of paper. Than pick one couple of point and try to draw a straignt line, that goes through both points. Do it freehand. Good idea is rotating the paper to your most suitable position and then trying a couple of times to stroke above points in the air not touching the surface so your hand gets the feeling of direction.

Second sheet is more about dynamics of the line. Try to draw a line that has a change in thickness. That gives a line a character. Try to do it in all directions while keeping the paper in the same horizontal direction. I put lines on paper that creates those interesting ornaments. It is due to fact that I was contingently changing the angle and placement of lines.

Another nice ornament to work on is a star. Wit that ornament you need to keep the center of those dynamic lines on the same place, which is a tricky task. Again - do NOT rotate the paper. Let your hand work in all directions.

Recommended number of practise sheets : 20x A3 (cardesigner at least 50x)
- side B can be done either in version A or version B

Good luck in your progress.
