Exercise - Side B - explenation

Welcome to the second week.

Second week is all about ellipses and curves.  On first side of the sheet you will do ellipses. The best way how to train all of them is to start with the narrow one and slowly drawing wider and wider ones. Try too fill the whole page with them. Always do a base line on which all the ellipses will be sitting by those minor axis. Be careful about the symmetry. When I draw an ellipse, I place my hand in a parallel way to the minor axis of the ellipse and do a curve to the left and than to the right. Keeping a symmetry of the ellipse in mind.

Second side of the paper will be about curves. You start with choosing three points that are not parallel to each other. Than try to connect them with smooth curve that has increasing or decreasing curvature. Do not do an L shapes. The aim is to produce a nice smooth curves.

Recommended number of practise sheets : 20x A3 (cardesigner at least 50x)
